Competition in the market is a major strategic issue for this company because the largest companies providing LMS services account for nearly 50% of the market. The other market segment is comprised of smaller LMS product vendors, enterprise resource planning vendors, training outsourcing firms, and consulting firms. Leh (2016) states that the LMS market is increasingly competitive because educational professionals, vendors, and practitioners continue to look for and develop different measures to promote life-long learning and enhance the experiences and outcomes of learners. Large and small companies continue to compete for the same market segment because modern learners want to consumer just-in-time resources. Additionally, these learners want to leverage collective knowledge in a reliable, inexpensive, and instant manner (Leh, 2016). Consequently, various kinds of learning technology providers are constantly engaged in developing systems that meet this need. The emphasis on the use of digital tools and resources in the higher education learning environment provides a suitable opportunity for companies like ITââ¬â¢s Learning to thrive as the create digital products for learning. The other advantage is Norwayââ¬â¢s commitment and support to ICT-supported learning to promote continuous learning. The country is renowned for having a long tradition of ICT-supported learning through several national programs that focus on promoting continuous and lifelong learning (Kjeldstad, 2016). Despite the numerous advantages of globalization with regards to promoting expansion into foreign markets, todayââ¬â¢s business organizations face significant difficulties given the complex conditions in foreign markets (Budzynska, 2013). For international companies and marketers like ITââ¬â¢s Learning, international expansion not only provides greater opportunities but is also associated with greater challenges (Samli, 2013). ITââ¬â¢s Learning recognizes that developing competitive advantage is an important aspect of promoting successful operations in foreign markets. As a result, the company has utilized its resources and competencies to scale up and develop competitive advantage in the foreign markets. One of the competencies used by this company to develop and sustain competitive advantage in foreign markets is formulating strategic partnerships to not only enter but also strengthen competitiveness in a foreign market. You dont have to use lots of different chemicals to make a colorful density column. This project uses colored sugar solutions made at different concentrations. The solutions will form layers, from least dense, on top, to most dense (concentrated) at the bottom of the glass. Difficulty: Easy Time Required: minutes What You Need SugarWaterFood coloringTablespoon5 glasses or clear plastic cups The Process Line up five glasses. Add 1 tablespoon (15 g) of sugar to the first glass, 2 tablespoons (30 g) of sugar to the second glass, 3 tablespoons of sugar (45 g) to the third glass, and 4 tablespoons of sugar (60 g) to the fourth glass. The fifth glass remains empty.Add 3 tablespoons (45 ml) of water to each of the first 4 glasses. Stir each solution. If the sugar does not dissolve in any of the four glasses, then add one more tablespoon (15 ml) of water to each of the four glasses.Add 2-3 drops of red food coloring to the first glass, yellow food coloring to the second glass, green food coloring to the third glass, and blue food coloring to the fourth glass. Stir each solution.Now lets make a rainbow using the different density solutions. Alcohol abuse is the most common problem, nowadays. In fact, majority of people drink alcohol repeatedly to the point where they have difficulty to stop. Statistics show that, as much as, ââ¬Å"40% of college students report drinking five or more drinks in one episodeâ⬠(Walters Baer, 2006). Alcohol has become more popular over the years as advertisements, simultaneously with commercials of it, filled the media. It also is easily accessible and cheap in comparison to other psychoactive substances. On the other hand, alcohol safety awareness programs are barely noticeable. Water pollution project considers the issue of water pollution with its causes, effects, and solutions. The project presents the problem of the contamination of lakes, waterways, seas, groundwater.
